Dance develops the individual physically, artistically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially in an artistic family environment. Depending on age, ability, and experience, students may participate in Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, and Hip-Hop.

Creative Movement - Ages 3 to 4 Emphasis on fun and creativity, class encourages child's natural movement, co-ordination, and muscle development. Mrs. Puffy will become each child's friend. Song and dance and correct French vocabulary are used in class. Children experience the joy of singing and dancing in a 30 minute class.

Combo Class - Ages 4 to 7 This class meets once a week for an hour. Pre-Ballet and Tap are taught in one class, so students learn the basics of proper technique and vocabulary while having fun with both styles of dance. Convenient for busy parents and students, this class helps our younger students develop the self-confidence and skills to continue studying dance.

Combo Class Ages 4 through 7. Especially for boys, girls are also welcome. Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop will be taught in this once a week hour long class.

Pre-Ballet Ages 4 and 5 Ballet is the dance form which provides the foundation for all other dance styles. Ballet steps are correctly introduced in a fun and disciplined way, sometimes using song and dance association.

Ballet - Ages 6 and older Ballet is the dance form which provides the foundation for all other dance styles. Classes in Ballet are offered for beginning through advanced levels. Students develop a strong sense of self-discipline in order to advance in all dance forms. After at least 2 years of ballet and at age 10 or older, students may add Pointe class with teacher recommendation.

Tap - Ages 4 and older Tap is a very old and once again popular form of dance in which the shoes have metal taps on them to make rhythmic sounds in many different styles. Tap is offered both as part of our combo classes as well as a separate course. Classes are taught at all levels and include rhythm and co-ordination skills to upbeat and popular music.

Jazz - Ages 5 and older Jazz has its own strong technique using the muscles in the body similar to the way they are used in Ballet. Students will learn this technique and will develop proper ways of emotionally expressing themselves through dance. Funk, Theatrical, Lyrical, Liturgical and African styles of dance can all be found in Jazz classes. Jazz students are very strongly encouraged to study ballet as well.

Hip-Hop - Ages 7 and older Hip-Hop is set to today's hottest music. Classes emphasize co-ordination, creativity and rhythm in an atmosphere of "moving to the beat".

Lyrical - Movements are done specifically to song lyrics
